Supreme Landscaping Products continues to grow

Driving to Birmingham and spending several long hours looking at a vast array of the very latest garden and outdoor living products at the Garden and Outdoor Living Trade Show or #glee17 was a tough day but the results were excellent.

More about the good results later, here's what Glee said about the exhibition:

'Glee is the UK’s most valuable garden and outdoor living tradeshow. At Glee you can discover thousands of the newest garden retail products from over 550+ suppliers across 8 tailored show sectors; Garden Care, Landscaping and Garden Decorations, Food and Catering, Retail Experiences and Services, Outdoor Entertaining, Pet Products, Home, gift and Clothing and Plants.

As well as enjoying our free, inspirational and educational seminars from leading industry experts, Glee also offers valuable insights into future key market trends, and with over 7,000 visitors in attendance, it has unrivalled networking opportunities with likeminded professionals from both the UK and overseas. Glee is the only place to source the very best in British products available within the UK and is the most crucial garden trade event in any retailer’s calendar.'

I was very impressed with the variety of landscaping and garden products on display and also with the way that many of them were displayed.

Our particular interest at this present time are products in the 'outdoor living' category, this relates to products for enhancing the 'indoor/outdoor transitional spaces'. It seems to us here that more and more households across the UK are making the best of their living space and extending what they have indoors to outside. Whether this is a result of a renewed interest in landscaping because of TV programs such as 'Love Your Garden' I can't be sure, but it's most certainly become a trend over the last few years.

Of course, the major problem with enjoying the garden in the UK is the weather, and as you can see the main photo on this article addresses that subject. We are very impressed with the style, design and quality of the outdoor fires and heaters from Muztag. I'll be talking to the MD Jack Nelson a lot more over the next few days, his brochure entitled 'A New Age Of Outdoor Living' is excellent.

Spending time in the garden whether the sun is out or not, can be a great way to celebrate any occaison, most people would agree that eating outside offers a new dimension to any traditional family meal, but you need to be able to sit down and be comfortable, don't you?

Impressed with the overall display, the variety of the items and the quality finish of the products led me to spend some time talking to Simon Davidson at Zest 4 Leisure direct. Here's a sample of what Zest 4 Leisure have to offer.

Dining al fresco isn't just a day time thing, but you need to be able to see what you're serving, right?

Another company that captured my attention was Lumena (bright innovation) and once again, I had a great conversation with sales manager David Packer. It's clear to see that the Lumena products would be particularly well suited to the Supreme Landscaping Products list of outdoor living prerequisites. Lumena outdoor lighting

So things were coming together at Glee, great outdoor heaters and fires, quality wooden garden furniture, stylish outdoor lighting, what more could I ask for?

Well, I could ask for a comprehensive selection of decorative stone, boulders, rockery rocks, water features and a whole host of other products including a range of horticultural grits and sands endorsed by the Royal Horticultural Society, couldn't I?

When I got talking to John Allbright at Kelkay and explained how Supreme Landscaping Products was growing and how we had developed a great online presence since 2015 and casually mentioned that I was very impressed with the Kelkay exhibition stand, the product range and the professional approach of the staff everything seemed very positive and naturally, I look forward to speaking to John again next week.

Supreme Landscaping Products continues to grow

Here at Supreme Landscaping Products we look to provide our customers with all their landscaping and gardening products, however, we might not be offering flowers and plants because at this stage we're really not sure how well they would be suited to courier delivery, but who knows?

In the meantime, the closest we are likely to get to that right now is compost and I had yet another long conversation, this time with Dave Gibbs at SupaGrow and Supreme Landscaping Products are very keen to be offering the great product range that Supa Grow offers.
